Bondi Beach is a popular beach in the suburb of Bondi in Sydney, Australia and was added to the Australian National Heritage List in 2008. This modern and fashionable coastal resort is well known for its kilometre of impressive sandy beach, and its great surf, especially towards south end of the beach which has a rating of 7, with 10 being the most hazardous. The northern end of the beach has a rating of 4 and is better for swimming and safe swimming areas are defined by yellow and red flags. A collection of cafes and restaurants overlooking the beach make it an excellent spot to linger and visit and the beautiful surrounding parkland is perfect for playing games, taking a walk or simply relaxing.
The superb promenade which back Bondi Beach continues around the headland along the coast and a market to the North of Campbell Parade is good spot to find a souvenir. There is a choice of accommodation including hostels, hotels and B&B's for you to choose from and great facilities ensure a wonderful holiday.
