Patara beach is a secluded beach which is ideal for beach goers that prefer solitude. It is just outside Kalkan and has km's of soft white sand and tranquil turquoise waters. This beach is not developed due to it being protected as part of the national park and the breeding ground for loggerhead turtles. The beach is closed after sunset between May and October to allow the turtles to lay their eggs. There is one cafe close to the end of the path to the beach.
