Ho'okipa beach is a great beach for surfing and windsurfing but due to the strong surf, windsurfing at this beach should be left for the pro's. Ho'okipa does has a long beautiful coral reef that makes it perfect for taking a swim in the early morning or when the ocean in calmer. There is no lifeguard on duty here and one should watch the conditions.

Hookipa Beach is an unrated beach and is a perfect summer sun destination. We recommend this beach for surfing.
