Camps Bay Beach, Cape Town, South Africa -
Known to some as the 'Miami of Cape Town', Camps bay is a popular sunbathing beach, which can in summer get very crowded. The attraction from all the restaurants and bars across the main road is the reason why this place is is often frequented by celebrities and a place to be seen at. Beware of the water though, it is very very very cold. The beach does have good facilities and a great place to experience summer in Cape Town.

A beach for those that like to see and be seen. Don't expect to swim far and for long - the water's cold, cold, cold. Enjoy walking along the beach, watching everyone around you, suntanning whilst drinking fruit smoothies from Kauai and chilling. Go for a sundowner or simply midday drinks at any of the local bars and restaurants and - if you decide to go back at night - go by the Codfather (= note the Capetonian humour) for great fish and seafood dinner.
