A small islet connected to Crete by a shallow reef that can be crossed when the sea is calm. On the south-west corner of Crete, can be reached by boat from Paleohora or by car from Vathi village. Something one doesn't expect to find in Greece, a rather exotic, wonderful beach with pink coral sand and crystalline waters. Can get pretty crowded during high season. Only a couple of small canteens can be found on the beach and no accommodation is available.
