Koundouros beach is a picturesque sandy beach on the northwest part of Kea. It is sheltered from the north winds and is a nice blue flag beach with plenty of facilities. The chairs to hire are slightly more expensive than on the rest of the island but you get good service here. There is a well kept bar/ restaurantt and shop just behind the beach and a clean play area for the kids. This beach can get busy so get there early to get a spot.
