Monolithos Beach got its name from the huge rock rising out of the sea This beach is popular for family groups and children can enjoy a vacation on Monolithos Beach paddling in the shallow crystal clear waters or playing in the playground, while grown-ups get down to some heavy snoring in the sun or a fun game of volleyball. Standing on the rock overlooking the beach is the church of Agios Ionnis.
